A spark of creativity, GYPSY CLASSROOMS Year 12 Major Work
The 'Gypsy Classrooms' addresses the overwhelming population growth of students in NSW by introducing a manageable, cost-effective design that redevelops the longstanding design of the standard classroom demountable that many of us are familiar with. The unique form explores the pedagogic possibilities and adapts to modern educational facets, the rounded shape break the traditional classroom format to encourage interaction between teacher and student, and the adjustable louvered exterior introduces the students to natural influences to prevent confinement whilst also providing privacy.
A great piece of architecture, KANSAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Renzo Piano
The elongated form of the Kansai Airport is a dynamic portrayal of aviation; a long, graceful touchdown, through the sleek lines and curved edges, it represents Piano's vision of the modern airport. Whilst on a train ride towards Kasai Airport, I saw the airport from afar, the landing planes almost disappearing into the white as it touches down at the airport. Piano does justice in expressing the aerodynamic form in his design of Kansai airport that when seen in person, is truly fascinating.

Multiple perspectives are presented in the image, an image of incredible individual success, and a reflection of the greatest fans in the world. The perspectives in front and behind the lens illustrate a beautiful story of victory against all odds. Kyle Lowry, one of the most beloved Raptors players in franchise history makes his mark in NBA history as the Toronto Raptors wins their first-ever Championship since the teams' inception 25 years ago. He has shed all the doubt, all the labels of his own recent history of failure, all the criticism to reach individual greatness at 32, inspiring a whole younger generation of ballers. But his success has also reached international fans of the game, for the first time, a team outside the US has won the NBA Championship. The photograph captures the impacts of the individual successes of Lowry and the '18-'19 Raptors team, shaping his own legacy as well as bringing the Raptor fans, including myself, into a new age of success, leaving behind a legacy of failure and heartbreak.
